The project, named RadioLuna, aims to uncover whether a fleet of small satellites in a lunar orbit could detect faint radio signals from the universe’s earliest days—signals that are nearly impossible to pick up on Earth due to man-made radio interference.
The advanced ADCS suite builds on ISISPACE’s heritage solution of sensors and actuators to allow extremely fine control and pointing for deep space science satellites like Mauve.
The payload, comprising the telescope, spectrometers and connecting fibres was assembled and tested in Italy.
