The meeting was held ahead of Mauve’s launch on SpaceX’s Transporter-15.
The institutions joined just before the launch of Mauve, growing the programme’s international collaboration to study stellar activity.
Mauve was launched by SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket as part of the Transporter-15 rideshare programme on 28 November 2025.
Mauve will be launched on a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.
The pod will now be transported to the launch site for integration with the launcher.
Mauve is scheduled for launch on SpaceX’s Transporter-15.
The team from Maynooth will be led by Associate Professor Dr Emma Whelan.
Marko Curavić, the Head of Unit for Space Research at the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) visited the C3S Integration Lab.
Mauve has successfully completed environmental testing, marking a key step toward its planned October 2025 launch.
