Access Mauve Preview Data

Blue Skies Space has released selected datasets from Mauve – a UV-visible spectrophotometry satellite designed to study stars in our galaxy. These datasets are available on Stardrive and provide a selection of early calibration observations of stars taken by Mauve during its commissioning phase.

Data are provided as FITS files, along with calibration information and examples of fitted datasets using existing CALSPEC spectra. The platform also includes an orbital tool that enables users to check the availability of targets for observation with Mauve. Researchers are invited to explore the datasets and the orbital tool.

Targets currently available:

  • 10 Lac (V mag = 4.88, Spectral type = O9 V)
  • θ Peg (V mag = 3.52, Spectral type = A2 V)
  • 29 Psc (V mag = 5.10, Spectral type = B7 III-IV)
  • 16 Cyg B (V mag = 6.20, Spectral type = G3 V)
