To support the design of Mauve’s science programme, Blue Skies Space has developed an advanced payload simulator that models the telescope performance for specific targets. The tool includes a database of over 400 spectra from real Hubble Space Telescope Imaging Spectrograph observations, which can be used to evaluate how Mauve would observe these targets of interest. Users can also upload their own real or synthetic spectra for analysis.
